Client Experience: Florence

Florence is a long time client of OU Nursing Life Stage Solutions. She is 80 years old and continues to live independently in a senior housing community.

Florence describes her experience with Life Stage Solutions, "I would not have been able to stay in my apartment without your help. I do not have children, and I’m in bad health. Without the assistance of my Care Manager and other community resources I would not be able to continue to live independently."

Some of the services OU Nursing Life Stage Solutions has coordinated for Florence include:

• conducting a home safety assessment to ensure her home is safe and to prevent falls
• coordinating medical care and doctor’s appointments
• communicating and organizing all of the care givers that visit her home
• help with refilling and organizing her medications
• arranging home health aides to assist her with showering, buying groceries, getting her hair cut, and laundry.

Florence continues to enjoy partnering with Life Stage Solutions and states, "I love my Care Manager and would refer my best friend."
